Rules of Nether World
All players are expected to know these rules; ignorance of the rules is not an
acceptable excuse. The punishment for breaking the rules is applied to the
*person* who breaks them, not the *character*.
* No multiplaying: Logging in with more than one character at a time is not
allowed; this includes link-dead characters, so make sure to use QUIT when
switching characters.
* No character sharing: A character has a single owner and only that owner
has permission to use it. Do not trade or give away your character.
* No kill stealing: This means you cannot attack a mob someone else is
fighting, unless you have their permission. Be cautious of fleeing mobs.
* No alignment sabotage: Do not use transport or similar spells to
intentionally cause an aligned character to lose their class.
* No AFK botting: Triggers are allowed if you are active/awake/conscious.
* No exploiting bugs: If you find a bug, report it. You will likely get a PP.
* No inappropriate names: Player names must be dungeon fantasy appropriate.
* Foul language is regulated (HELP LANGUAGE) on mudwide channels. Harassment of
people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, or physical or
mental handicap will not be tolerated in any form. You are speaking to real
people with real feelings! Use common sense: no spamming. See HELP WHINE.
* The newbie channel exists to help newbies. Lying or giving false information
to people on this channel (only) is not allowed.
* Player killing and stealing is limited to players that have electively
joined a clan. See HELP PK, PSTEAL, and CLANS. The general rule with regard to
player killing is to not ruin the fun of others by abusing other players
continuously. See HELP EXCESSIVE PK for details.
