Bretraborg's Bay
[Exits: north east west]
You are in wide bay with deep blue, ice-cold water, and tall trees on
the cliffs flanking the bay.  To the north you see a small flat valley,
where the bay ends at a small city's wharf.  Floating gently on the water
there are several drakkars, some of which are ready to sail while others
are undergoing repairs.  Just past the wharf, Bretraborg, the city of
Vikings, sprawls across the valley.

You stand on the Viking city's oak wood wharf.  Everything is made roughly
but durably.  You see several drakkars docked here, half-full of different
goods -- probably the spoils of the warriors' most recent raid.  Some of
the crates, bales, and barrels are still scattered about along the wharf.
You can hear the barking of dogs, voices, and a host of other sounds coming
from the city to the north.  Farther down the wharf to the east, you can
see a half-finished drakkar which still lacks the bow.
You see a slave carrying some heavy packages.

You stand on the Viking city's oak wood wharf.  Everything is made roughly

from the city to the north.  There is a half-finished drakkar here, lacking
its bow.  The dragon-head bow lies on the ground nearby, ready to be mounted.
Looking around, you see many different tools and oaken logs.

You are in a roomy house with wooden walls constructed from rough-hewn
logs without windows and a high roof without an attic.  Several wooden
beds are covered with sheepskins and linen covers.  The oaken tables and
chairs here look very heavy.  Dried grass and flowers hang from the
beams near the ceiling.  There is a stone hearth in the center of the room,
which is the only source of light and heat.
