A great hill of bare stone rises up above the forest, providing a good
view of the outlying lands.  The forest extends to the the horizon in all
directions except north, where the Plains of Pinestria reside and east,
where the Blackened Mountains protrude like great fangs against the skyline.
The woods to the south look unnaturally dark and shrouded in mist, and you
realize the Swamp of Jethusala must lie in that direction.  At the base of
the hill to the west you see the crumbling ruins of an ancient temple.

red candles mounted on the walls on both sides of you.
