[*] A Shadowy Chasm
[Exits: west up]
Graillen's Pass empties into a deep shadowy chasm at the feet of the
Blackened Mountains.  The walls of the chasm are of sheer black rock
hundreds of feet high and you sense that an evil lurks in this deep place,
but perhaps it is merely fear of the darkness in the numerous dark and
unseen crevices about.  The road carries on, however, and at the east end of
the chasm reaches a great staircase cut into the rock.
